The density of polyester film is 1400KG/cubic meter, 1.4g/cubic centimeter. The formula is how many square meters of 1KG PET film = weight kg ÷ density 1.4 ÷ thickness = meters per kilogram. Taking 0.05mm thickness as an example, 1÷1.4÷0.05≈14.285 meters. Conventional is 1 meter wide, and then 1*14.285, that is 14.285 square meters
The density of polyimide film is 1450KG/cubic meter, 1.45g/cubic centimeter. The formula is how many square meters of 1KG PI film = weight kg ÷ density 1.45 ÷ thickness = meters per kilogram. Taking 0.05mm thickness as an example, 1÷1.45÷0.05≈13.793 meters. The conventional width is 910mm, 0.91*13.793=12.55163 square meters
